Our latest Women in Sustainability Design the Future podcast is live.

Lindsay Baker and I spoke with architect and social innovator Liz Ogbu about spatial justice and much more.

Liz has defined her role as an architect as someone who works with communities in need to leverage design and catalyze sustained social impact. In any design work, there are moments to ask transformative questions, such as: What if we were helping build a capacity to stay?

"We can't solve hunger, wages, and deforestation all at once," she says. "But I can ask the right questions that will enable us to support the community. Here's one: How can we be intentional about understanding who has been harmed and who has benefited?"

Thank you to Acuity for producing and to Morgan Phelps and Karen Doss Becker.
