Take the time to review both current consumption and proven reserves of oil and natural gas.
We have about 40 years until the tank is empty. (About 200 years coal, but if we burn it the atmosphere will not support life as we know it.)

In 2019 we are a a Y in the road to the future: one is a global effort at decarbonization to slow the environmental catastrophe, the other is suicide highway.

Architects do not share a single voice.  But if we did it would be pro survival, anti stupidity.

Bucky Fuller said it best, "The 21st Century is when we find out if the human race is a failed experiment."

    Nicholas,
That quote from Bucky is perfect.  I agree wholeheartedly.  This is when we determine what happens next.  We can argue about whether the earth is warming, but ultimately it comes down to more responsible management of resources.  Architects are responsible for making more efficient buildings.  We should be committed to that.

    Regards,
    Paul
