The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

    Hello AIA Colleagues!

     

    The City of West Hollywood is honored to announce the Green City Awards in 2020.  West Hollywood is dedicated to sustainability and preserving the environment.  We acknowledge it will take big and small environmental sustainability actions to combat the adverse effects of climate change.

     

    Nominations for the Green City Awards are now open and all interested are encouraged to apply.  There are three award categories:  Individuals, Businesses, and Nonprofit Organizations/Schools.

     

    The application deadline is Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.  To learn more about the City of West Hollywood's Green City Awards, and to view the eligibility and award criteria, please visit www.weho.org/gca
