Willful ignorance by individuals is disappointing. An effort to cultivate willful ignorance at this scale is disastrous. Trump is helping our species hasten its self-destruction.

    Hasten its self-destruction?  Please.

Well, I sure trust the NY Times for objective reporting…  Thank God that California and The Business Case for Zero Carbon Architecture will protect us from Trump's ignorance.

I had the opportunity to serve as a Review Editor on the Fourth National Climate Assessment Report and it was an amazing and humbling experience. There are so many brilliant scientists and researchers hard at work to complete the Congressional mandate to assess climate conditions and  impacts for the U.S. the document is incredibly valuable for all of us.  The idea of curtailing their work to meet some fictional reality is beyond irresponsible and against the requirements set by Congress in 1990.
    We can't let this happen.

Does it seem like the people who most often speak out against taking action to reduce climate change are often from major fossil fuel producing and refining States?
