The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

    This year's COTE Top Ten Toast is coming up ... it's Thursday, May 20, 430-6pm ET. 

    We will celebrate the Top Ten Awards winners and the winners of the COTE/ACSA Top Ten for Students Competition ... and breakout for discussions with practitioners, students, and more who are interested in climate action and climate justice through design.

    We will have many of the jury members presenting the awards ... and we will have breakouts for COTE Community Conversations. We'll be discussing questions about the practice transformation, climate action, and climate justice.
