Who we are

The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

have you/your firm/your chapter hosted a Toolkit or Framework presentation?

  • 1.  have you/your firm/your chapter hosted a Toolkit or Framework presentation?

We are gathering information about Toolkit and Framework presentations that have been given (or are planned for the coming months) around the country. If your chapter has hosted such a session, we'd like to know about it. This information is important to us because we are trying to assess and track how many practitioners are being introduced to the AIA Framework for Design Excellence and the Toolkit.

By next Friday, August 7, please share with me the following infomation:

Presentation Date, Title, Presenter/s, Format/Location, Host Organization, Audience Scale (if available/known), plus relevant links (to chapter site or to the session itself, if it was recorded).

I ask that you send the information to me at kiragould@kiragould.com with "COTE Toolkit/Framework Presentation" (or something similar) as the subject line.

    Thank you!!
