2023 COD Conferences

Last year, COD held two domestic design conferences investigating The Authenticity of Place.  The first conference was held in New Orleans, LA.  View the short video of the venue tours and download the conference program book.     The time for half measures and outdated targets is over if we are to stop the irreparable destruction of our cities, towns, and natural environments. How difficult is designing to zero carbon today? Not difficult at all, says Edward Mazria (Architecture 2030). In his talk on November 29 he will deliver a riveting presentation on the road to zero emissions, outline the three steps to zero-carbon buildings and the transformation underway in the U.S and global built environments.
     
     
    The event is part of the Master Classes organised by the global Building Sense Now initiative and Misereor. In addition to the keynote lecture, there will be space for questions. The event is free of charge.
