Here are the updates from AIA K-12 Initiatives:
- There is a new webpage on AIA.org. It is for AIA K-12 Initiatives . Please visit the site from for information on K-12 efforts of the AIA and AIA members engaging K-12 students, parents, and educators.
- On Thursday, March 22 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST AIA in partnership with the National Girls Collaborative (NGC) will provide a webinar called Increasing the visibility for architecture and design K-12 programs. This webinar will highlight the partnership and delve into how using The Connectory may increase our efforts to increase architecture education opportunities to students, educators, and communities. The Connectory is the nation's largest STEM digital repository. AIA is now the first professional organization to partner with The Connectory and NGC. To learn more and register, click here!
- AIA Learning by Design: K-8 Chapter Grant Program has opened the application process from March 16 - April 20, 2018. This grant program is open for AIA Chapters to provide new or existing architecture and design education opportunities to students in grades K-8. AIA chapters can apply for up to $5,000.00.
