Hopefully, the spatial requirements with Covid 19 will be temporary.Yet - in planning for upcoming summer and fall classes there needs to be immediate adjustment. With the obvious exception of the 6' bubble - or approx 30 sq ft per person, or scheduling changes;Has anyone created any documents to be shared with higher ed campuses on how to adjust spatial distance?

I believe, it is time we stop thinking only in terms of space. The schools and higher ed facilities of the future need to be a real combination of physical and digital. This concept we currently have of certain number of physical contact hours in the school environment will not work.

The impact of social distancing is significant, but 30 sq.ft./person assumes 6 feet on center. 6 feet apart will require something closer to 45 sq.ft./person. And that's standing. Seated, it would even be a bit more.
