Who we are

The goal of the Building Performance Knowledge Community (BPKC) is to promote architects as leaders in the application of technical design for building performance; in the use of high-performance design criteria, codes, and standards; and in programming, designing and managing building performance. To advance, disseminate, and advocate—to the architecture profession, AIA members, building owners, the construction industry, the academy, and the public—design practices that create buildings that are healthy, energy efficient, and durable.

The AIA Board Knowledge Committee/Knowledge Community Leadership is asking us to complete a survey with the following questions:

What is your Knowledge Community currently working on related to COVID-19?

This first question applies to each of you and your firm's work – firm stories on how your practice is currently working on COVID-9 projects.

How can your Knowledge Community contribute to the immediate efforts?

How can your Knowledge Community contribute to the medium-/long-term efforts as the virus subsides?

Please post your replies to enable us to collate the answers and respond to the The AIA Board Knowledge Committee/Knowledge Community Leadership group.

    Thanks for your participation!
