Borders-cities, states and nations

When I take a look at the earth view from the space shuttle, I see a pretty small place – even smaller when looking at the bigger universe out there.

We [us humans] are all citizens of the little blue/green/tan globe, and there really is no other option.

It seems like we had finally gotten over the millenia of walls, major wars, etc., and into world travel, trade, understanding of each other.

Hopefully this is another phase of neighbours disagreeing and just listening to or following one other of the bully tough guys, instead of figuring out how to feed and make each other a little happier as citizens on this small planet.

Yes, cities have become larger as the population has increased.  Fighting and walls is no way to address who plays in one back yard or another.

A stronger, more proactive United Nations, with foam swords for each representative might be a more logical way to sort out who gets to play with what toys, and then it is cookies, milk and nap time.
