Announcing Blueprint for Better Communities and webinar (April 3)

At Grassroots, AIA's annual leadership event, in San Diego earlier this month, 2018 AIA President Carl Elefante, FAIA, announced a new initiative: Blueprint for Better Communities. The purpose of the program is to increase the number member "Champions" who engage their communities around pressing issues, like climate change, homelessness, public health, and economic redevelopment.

Some of you may already be doing this though local charrettes, panels, events, or advocacy. Others may be ready to engage your neighbors and community leaders. Blueprint for Better Communities is designed to support or both through a combination of grants and professional training.

Join our April 3rd webinar (1 LU) to learn how two Champions-Tania Salgado, FAIA, and Tim Hawk, FAIA-are engaging their communities. They'll offer insights and suggestions for creating your own community engagement programs, and give you the inside scoop on Blueprint for Better Communities grants.
