The AIA Technology in Architectural Practice Knowledge Community (TAP) serves as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and the public in the deployment of computer technology in the practice of architecture. TAP leaders monitor the development of computer technology and its impact on architecture practice and the entire building life cycle, including design, construction, facility management, and retirement or reuse.
Congrats on offering these two software packages as a member benefit. I have used ArchiCad for more than 10 years and find it the best on the market for use by small firms and that works well on the large projects too. KUDOS!
Your neighbors here in Phoenix, Arizona - Orcutt | Winslow - have been using ArchiCAD for over 20 years! It's a great cross-platform (PC/Mac) platform for everything from conceptual design to rendering to truly integrated BIM. If you're looking for an alternative to the status quo, I highly recommend giving it a try!
