I am working on a new residence here in Charlotte NC. The Only AAC manufacturer left standing in the states is Aercon of Florida. If you are in Maryland there are significant shipping costs. Their website is very informative. YOu can also talk to Monica Arrango who is their architecture Liason.

Subject: Use alternative eco materials such as CLT or AAC
Hi gang,
I have a new client who has requested to use either CLT (cross-laminated timber) or AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) materials as feasible. This will be a 2-story addition to a traditionally wood-framed and siding home. I have never worked with these materials but they are very interesting. Does anyone have any experience with them that they can share? I would appreciate any input or good sources for detailing etc?
The project is in Maryland.
