  • 1.  Horizontal lap siding options with similar thickness to Artisan

    We are in the Southeast (hot and humid).  In the past, we have used ARTISAN (by James Hardi) horizontal siding (almost exclusively)...but it is not longer available (not certain 'why'...but no longer on the Hardi web site for our zone).  We are looking for an alternate that has a similar thickness.  Thougths?

    We just used it on a museum project here in Naples and the artisan series was available but only via special order.

    You might take a look at Nichiha. I've only used their 'shakes' but the 1/2" thick lap siding looks promising:
