My husband and I own a small architectural practice in Knoxville, TN, where our focus is designing renovations to historic homes. Our love of old houses has helped us build a collection of old house plan books (the old Sears plans and similar), and we are talking more seriously about beginning to sell house plans as part of our business model. We would maintain our custom design services, too. This would simply be an offering for prospects looking for a ready-made solution.
