We are excited to announce that, as part of the Entertainment Experience Evolution Conference, the American Institute of Architects Retail and Entertainment Knowledge Community will be hosting a free architectural tour of L.A. Live from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday February 20th, 2015. Representatives from three of the architectural firms responsible for the design of L.A. Live will be on hand to present their work and lead the tours. Due to space limitations and scheduled venues participation, this tour series will be limited to 50 conference attendees.
LA Live, the 4-million square foot sports and entertainment district in downtown Los Angeles opened in 2007 with the completion of the NOKIA Theatre and NOKIA Plaza. L.A. Live features sports and music destinations, night clubs, restaurants, a bowling alley, museum and movie theaters. The 27-acre site, developed by AEG, is home to such venues Staples Arena, the NOKIA Theatre, Club NOKIA, the Conga Room, Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge, the GRAMMY Museum, Regal Cinemas, as well as ESPN's West Coast Broadcast Center.
