7# Learning from Singapore
Join the Resilient Cities Network Speakers Series on Cities on the Frontlines, exploring how cities around the world are responding to COVID-19.
This session will touch on an overview of Singapore's success in the first wave ('imported' and secondary cases) and the factors behind this. Factors such as clear communications and the involvement of the whole of government, business, and civil society have been the hallmarks of Singapore's response to date. Yet, recently Singapore is struggling to contain the worker dormitories' outbreaks in this second wave. A critical analysis of the latest situation and how actors across the city are uniting in unprecedented ways to support the foreign workers will also be discussed.
The session will take place: Thursday, 23 April 2020 8.30 AM EST - 09.30 / 08.30 PM Singapore Time.
