  • 1.  APT DC: Call for Proposals

    Posted 04-14-2019 11:57 AM

APT DC is accepting presentation proposals for our annual Symposium! This year's theme is The Preservationist's Toolkit: Exploring Diverse Approaches to Historic Preservation in which we'll address ways in which preservationists have utilized and/or adapted diverse technologies and practices from allied fields for the benefit of preserving our built heritage and advancing approaches to historic preservation. The symposium will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon

Proposals for presentations ranging from 20-40 minutes will be accepted. We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a student poster session, giving students and recent graduates an opportunity to share work related to this year's theme. The full call for presentations and student posters is available on the website's symposium page. The submission deadline is May 6, 2019. We look forward to receiving your presentation and poster abstracts!

Please direct any questions to symposium@aptdc.org.
