THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking industry input regarding advanced design, construction, and manufacturing capabilities.
OBO intends to announce a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation for design-build services with the intent to increase the use of offsite and manufacturing methodologies to the maximum extent feasible to support the delivery of Diplomatic Facilities worldwide.
Input received as part of this RFI will be used to develop the IDIQ framework consistent with OBO's mission to provide safe, secure, functional, and resilient diplomatic facilities.
In particular, feedback is requested in:
- Advanced design and/or construction capabilities
- Measurable success criteria related to project and/or program execution
- Project delivery capability
- Applicability to building typologies
