We are in discussions with 2 firms to assist us with the Research and development tax credits, but would like recommendations from firms that have been down this road.
I see that AIA has a partner that produced a white paper on the AIA website, but looking for references.

    Thank you

We have been using the firm Alternate Tax Solutions for our R&D work for a number of years and have been very pleased with their work.

I believe ATS made a presentation at AIA DC several years ago - they are a major asset for firms looking to take advantage of its intellectual capital, which is indeed our profession's stock in trade.

We have used these tax credits for the past three years. They have provided a significant savings above the cost of the consultant. Your accopuntant can certainly recommend an appropriate local firm to complete the required study.
