The Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) promotes and fosters the exchange of information and knowledge between members, professional organizations, and the public for high-quality planning, design, and delivery of justice architecture.
One of the new priorities for all AIA Knowledge Communities is to reach out to emerging professionals which includes architecture students. In fact, the goal of the Academy of Architecture for Justice is to locate future national conferences in cities which have universities with architecture programs. We would endeavor to partner with these universities to involve students in design charrettes, research, and potentially, conference sessions. It would be necessary for the AAJ's Advisory Group and the conference planning committees to have a liaison with any university with whom we partner. Ideally, the liaison would be an alumnus of the institution or have strong ties to the dean or professors in the architecture program.
In order to help establish the AAJ's ties to each university, we respectfully request that any of you who have strong ties to a university email me with a list of those institutions so we can establish a database for planning purposes. Furthermore, if you are interested in being a liaison with this university in the future, please reply accordingly. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you,
