    Hello AAJ members,

On a more light-hearted note, here is your chance to appear alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger! (Or at least on a bonus video on the DVD of their latest movie.) I got the following message and wanted to share it with you-- feel free to respond to Mr. Ventrella if you want to share your experience with prison design on camera. PS he mentioned that it would be easier to do filming on the West coast, location is a factor in who can get this special opportunity!

My name is Peter Ventrella and I'm producing the special features for the home video release of the upcoming Lionsgate film, "Escape Plan" starring Sylvester Stallone.

The film centers on Stallone's character who is an architect of Supermax-style high security prisons.   The goal of our bonus featurette is to provide viewers of the film with a real life counterpoint to the high security prison that is portrayed in the Stallone film as well as some insight into what considerations go into designing and securing a structure like this.

Some areas that the featurette would cover include; how the design of these prisons differs from that of more traditional administrative buildings, how modern high security and surveillance technology play a part in the design, what special design and construction considerations exist for super maximum security prisons vs those with lower level security, etc.

Ideally, we would look to do on-camera interviews within the next 3 weeks.  Anyone interested can contact me at:
