    Hello HRC members,
This coming May/June, I will be teaching a  class on Accessibility in Historic Buildings at Ball State University's M.Arch/MSHP program. I would like for students to prepare a case study to share with the class on an Historic Building that has undergone modifications to improve its accessibility. While this may or may not require a visit to the project (depending on proximity to Indiana), it would require a firm/person willing to share their work, talk with the students, and be willing to share some documents (photos/drawings/cutsheets, etc) of the work completed. We have 7 students currently enrolled. If you would be willing to work with one of our student, please let me know. As always, we appreciate the professional HRC community's willingness to help our students!
    Thank you

    Jonathan,

I would contact Terry Palmer with Beaty Palmer Architects here in San Antonio.
Our historic City Hall has just undergone a multi-year restoration, and Beaty Palmer won a design competition sponsored by our local AIA Chapter to design a solution for accessibility to the building which has been incorporated into the renovation.
It is a very elegant solution to a very difficult problem.
