    Hi everyone,

    Many of us are planning to attend APT and PastForward this year, but are there other events not on our radar that we should know about? HRC is always looking for events for our newsletter that would be relevant to preservation architects!

    Hi All: I'd put these events on your potential dance card:

    *Traditional Building Conference -- Fall edition of the series, with a focus on windows and more, at Graylyn Estate, Winston-Salem, NC, Oct. 29-30; www.traditionalbuildingshow.com;

    * APT-DC Symposium -- The Washington area chapter is holding this year's event of speakers exploring The Preservationists' Toolkit at George Washington's Mount Vernon, Sept. 20; www.apt.dc.org/symposium;

    * Window Preservation Summit IV -- Window restoration experts and students alike will convene for this week-long "Window Woodstock" at the legendary Pine Mountain School in Bledsoe, Kentucky, October 6-11; https://windowstandards.org/?page_id=350;

    I go to AIC's convention. It is a great way to learn about what is going on in the conservation world. Next year's is in Salt Lake City the week after AIA|LA. https://www.culturalheritage.org/

    As a board member of NPI, I am going to shamelessly plug our seminars:
