Who we are

The mission of the Historic Resources Committee (HRC) is to identify, understand, and preserve architectural heritage, both nationally and internationally. HRC is engaged in promoting the role of the historic architect within the profession through the development of information and knowledge among members, allied professional organizations, and the public.

    Dear Preservationists:
    Since the destructive fire occurred at Notre Dame, historic preservation and cultural heritage have been a subjects being discussed world-wide. Yesterday, staff from the National Park Service's Heritage Documentation Programs (HABS/HAER/HALS) and Cultural Resources GIS Program created a timely, online exhibit, highlighting the importance of comprehensive cultural heritage documentation - especially before disaster strikes.
