Who we are

The mission of the Historic Resources Committee (HRC) is to identify, understand, and preserve architectural heritage, both nationally and internationally. HRC is engaged in promoting the role of the historic architect within the profession through the development of information and knowledge among members, allied professional organizations, and the public.

    Salary: $137,849.00 - $166,500.00 Per Year
    Pay scale & grade: GS 15
    This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Director, Planning and Project Management (PPM), Assistant Director, Architecture and Preservation Branch. The selectee will provide leadership and general direction of the branch utilizing a professional knowledge of architecture and historic preservation. It is desirable that the incumbent be a Registered Architect (RA) with training and experience in Preservation of architecturally significant monumental structures.
