The mission of the Historic Resources Committee (HRC) is to identify, understand, and preserve architectural heritage, both nationally and internationally. HRC is engaged in promoting the role of the historic architect within the profession through the development of information and knowledge among members, allied professional organizations, and the public.

    Sharon Park FAIA - Office of Architectural History and Historic Preservation at the Smithsonian Institution is hiring a contract position for one year, renewable, for Historic Preservation Support.  It is for a comparable government GS 9-GS 11 with benefits ($67-$72K/yr.).  The announcement is scheduled to close September 30th so please contact Brian.Grove@lendlease.com for the full announcement, immediately.  The job seeks a recent graduate in architecture, historic preservation, conservation or related field with some field experience.  The assignments are for construction project review and assistance, administrative support for Section 106 project review and the ability to design, write, and post materials on the web. The work is part telework, part in-office work and on-site project support in Washington, DC and surrounding area.  Come work with Sharon and the great team at the Smithsonian.
