Call for Presentation Proposals

  • 1.  Call for Presentation Proposals

    Posted 04-18-2018 01:15 PM

Architecture Exchange East is a thought-leadership conference and expo curated by AIA Virginia.  This year, it will be held Nov. 7–9, 2018, in Richmond, Va., and we're expecting an audience of more than a thousand architects and allied professionals over the course of our three-day event. Our goal is to bring together the brightest minds and most engaging speakers to offer talks that are future-focused on a wide range of subjects ― and to provoke important conversations.

I hope members of the HRC community will consider submitting a proposal and/or sharing this call for proposals with your colleagues in preservation, conservation, and research.

Talks could range from a one-hour session to a full-day workshop -- we don't want to box anyone into a particular format. We're encouraging creative approaches to content delivery, including panel discussions, tours, and guided collaborative conversations. We welcome all proposals!

Our deadline for proposals is on April 30. Following the deadline, each proposal will be carefully evaluated and selected by our Program Advisory Council. We anticipate announcing the program in July.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments or suggestions for speakers!
    My thanks,
