Blueprint for Better Communities webinar (April 3)

  • 1.  Blueprint for Better Communities webinar (April 3)

    Posted 03-26-2018 10:16 AM

Earlier this month at AIA Grassroots, AIA President Carl Elefante, FAIA, announced a new initiative: Blueprint for Better Communities. The purpose of the program is to increase the number member "champions" who engage their communities around pressing issues, like climate change, homelessness, public health, and economic redevelopment.

Some of you may already be doing this through local charrettes, panels, events, or advocacy. Others may be ready to engage your neighbors and community leaders. Blueprint for Better Communities is designed to support or both through a combination of grants and professional training.

Do you want to be a champion in your own community? Join our webinar on April 3 to learn how champions Tania Salgado, FAIA and Tim Hawk, FAIA are engaging their communities. They'll offer insights and suggestions for creating your own community engagement programs and give you the inside scoop on Blueprint for Better Communities grants.
