Who we are

The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

webinar: Knowledge Management for Sustainability / December 4

  • 1.  webinar: Knowledge Management for Sustainability / December 4

    Posted 11-30-2018 11:34 AM

    WEBINAR: December 4, 2018 @ 2:00pm Eastern Time

    Organizing Sustainability:

Knowledge Management as the Key to High Performance

Corey Squire, AIA, of Lake|Flato Architects, who is also a member of the AIA COTE Advisory Group, and one of those responsible for AIA COTE's new Top Ten Toolkit (rolling online mid December!), will present a BuildingGreen Communities webinar: you can register here.

Limited access to high-quality, concise, and usable information is the major barrier to the universal adoption of sustainable design. This webinar will explore the topic of knowledge management from the perspective of sustainability and show how the strategic curation, organization, and distribution of information can be the most effective strategy for firms to improve the performance across all projects. Squire will also talk about the AIA COTE Top Ten Toolkit as a framework for scaling knowledge management.

Please share with any who would be interested.

AIA COTE chairs, please distribute to your chapter members.
