Call for reviewers: New COTE toolkit

  • 1.  Call for reviewers: New COTE toolkit

    Posted 10-04-2018 03:00 PM
COTE is seeking peer reviewers for the new practice resource, the AIA COTE Top Ten Toolkit. This toolkit will be a resource, accessible to all architects, that closes the information gap to designing high performing, equitable, beautiful buildings.

We are looking for reviewers for portions OR the entire document, so if you are unable to review the whole toolkit, you can still be a reviewer.

    How to review:

    1. Download and review the current text and ensure that all information is accurate, accessible, and of the highest value.
      1. Provide comments and suggestions with track changes where the information could be made simpler, more accurate, or more accessible. Please suggest eliminating or adding items as you see fit.
    2. Please feel free to propose images and diagrams to strengthen the information in the measure. Include links and images with sources in the word document.
    3. Take a look at the provided links to resources. Any great resources that need to be added? (note: these will be edited to only the most useful resources for the final product)
    4. When finished please upload your final draft with track changes to our drop box. Please include your last name in the title of your document. Example: COTE Top Ten Toolkit Review Draft_Morancy

    Please do not:

    1. Add or subtract focus topics
    2. Alter the measure description text. This is directly from the current COTE Top Ten framework
    3. Modify the organization or format of the measures

We are looking to collect feedback by Monday, October 15.  If you have any questions, contact Melissa Morancy (melissamorancy@aia.org

Thank you for considering helping us with this project. We hope this review process will make this resource the best it can be.
