2023 COD Conferences

Last year, COD held two domestic design conferences investigating The Authenticity of Place.  The first conference was held in New Orleans, LA.  View the short video of the venue tours and download the conference program book.     There's a lot to quibble with about this piece including, 1) the fact that the building's architect, which I believe is EwingCole, is not mentioned at all; and 2) a building is not "making" or producing energy, it is harvesting it.

    But the piece is about a sundial at a corporate headquarters ... it's a very interesting building feature that, ultimately, is meant to help the building communicate to its users about its performance. Cool.
