2023 COD Conferences

Last year, COD held two domestic design conferences investigating The Authenticity of Place.  The first conference was held in New Orleans, LA.  View the short video of the venue tours and download the conference program book. The second conference was held in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, September 21-24, 2023. Download the Minneapolis guidebook and view the conference video.

    I have been asked, well, maybe I volunteered, not sure which came first, to attempt to rejuvenate the Committee on Design discussion that occurs here.  My hope at this point is to find 11 others who are willing to join me in this effort.  The tentative introductory plan is that each of us will take a month and be "chief goosers" of the discussion for that month.  That means we will raise questions, respond to responses, and generally do whatever it takes to keep a thought-provoking discussion of interest to COD members going.  If you are interested in becoming a member of this latest Gang of 12, please send me an email at mike@mmense.com.  In that email, please tell me a little about yourself and also give me any opinions you have about how best we can do this.
    My first post to start this re-up moving will occur later this evening.
