    Hello,

I am getting ready to conduct a Facilities Maintenance Study for a K-12 client and am seeking recommendations on resources and reference manuals that I could use to guide my efforts. In particular, I am interested in getting information on the following items:

    • Planning for School Facilities Maintenance
    • Facility Audits

Please let me know what advice can be provided to assist me in this regard.

    Thanks,

Have you looked at ASTM E2018-08 Standard & Property Condition Assessments?

It's old (1998), but here is a "Guide for School Facility Appraisal" that CEFPI put out long ago:

I am a member of A4LE – here is a link to a manual that assists with assessments and studies.

There is also an old guide that was put out by CEFPI (the former association name and it had a 92 edition, as well as a 98 editiion:  Guide for School Facility Appraisal.
