Clinton E. Brown, FAIA

Buffalo Niagara-based, historic preservation architect and redeveloper
Clinton E. Brown, FAIA is widely recognized as a leader in historic preservation architecture, community revitalization, and public policy. The founder and principal of Clinton Brown Company Architecture, the full service historic preservation architecture firm, he brings over 30 years of experience to his work of collaboratively creating new value in heritage buildings and communities.

He earned a BA Sociology from Franklin and Marshall College, attended the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies and earned a M. Architecture from the University of Virginia School of Architecture and Planning.

The Secretary of the Interior appointed him a Commissioner of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Commission and the Governor appointed him a Director of the Richardson Center Corporation and Richardson Buffalo Architecture Center Boards. He is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Willowbank Estate, Foundation, and School of Restoration Arts in Queenston, Ontario, Canada. He has spoken before nearly 2,000 people on heritage and civic revitalization matters.
