2011 Recipient of the prestigious Society of American Military Engineers (SAME ) Urbahn Medal awarded annually to one architect selected from the country for notable and eminent contribution in the field of architecture, Mr. Tang is a lead architect responsible for design and business development for general architecture and design/build projects nationwide under HDR Federal program.
He has more than 22 years of professional experience in the design of a broad range of complex projects including military housing, training, federal and corporation headquarters, research laboratories, educational, airport, commercial and residential facilities.
As a lead architect, he works closely with clients to establish appropriate and innovative design solutions. As a marketer, he proactively seeks business opportunities and leads proposal efforts.
Mr. Tang has worked tirelessly to promote high architectural quality for Federal facilities among architectural communities and construction industry. His work has received numerous design awards and has been published in professional magazines. He has lectured about both architectural design and design/build in US and abroad.
