Nationally and internationally recognized authority on environments for the aging and elderly and on contemporary care provision approaches. Expertise in understanding the environmental relationship of residence, workplace and community center within a single built environment. Also expertise in intensive pre-design programming and post occupancy evaluations for environments for the ageing. Frequent lecturer and presenter at conferences including American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing (IAHSA), Internation Federation on Ageing (IFA) and State and regional affiliated organizations. Author of numerous articles and co-author of the book "Design for Aging Post Occupancy Evaluations," Wiley, 2007.
