A hearty congratulations to Frances Halsband, FAIA in taking the lead on this issue.  You should know that the resolution asking for change in the AIA's Code of Ethics passed overwhelmingly.  The number of Fellows signing onto this resolution was attributed as one of the strengths of the resolution.

Thanks for your leadership of our profession, Frances.

    FAIA Colleagues:

As one who has been on board with her with Frances' posse from the beginning, I want to thank you and our colleagues in the Institute for your overwhelming support of her initiative.  Her leadership is exactly what Skipper Post talked about at the C of F luncheon and Convocation gala / inner.

As one who has been an educator/practitioner for 51 years, I believe it is time for the leadership at ACSA and AIAS to now follow suit.  Harassment starts early in the careers of our colleagues when they are students and continue through their years as emerging professionals.

Wishing you all a very rewarding remainder of 2018 ... both personally and professionally.
Tony Costello, FAIA (Class of 2001)
