    There is no question that reduce carbon foot print in all buildings.

    Jan is so right!
    We need to move fast and comprehensively.
    If you include industrial buildings, the building sector produces roughly half the earth’s carbon footprint. And it’s the biggest user of electricity.
    (Because of sprawl, we’re the only country where transportation is a bigger carbon emitter than electrical power generation.)
    We bring up the rear on a per capita carbon/energy/GHG footprint.
    We gotta act!
