    The subject of this recent article in National Geographic is how sustainable design influences health.

    I believe that architects and engineers must be careful when talking about the benefits of Green Buildings, but there is evidence that a poorly designed indoor environment affects human health and performance.

     

     

    The Green Buildings article is part of a National Geographic series called Urban Expeditions, that is intended to show sustainable urban practices and projects. Architecture and design are a big part, of course. Take a look:
