Colleague to Colleague Program

By Michelle L. Trott AIA posted 12-29-2021 03:14 PM

2021 piloted the Colleague to Colleague (C2C) mentoring program with an overarching goal to engage members of the healthcare architectural community to further their development and network with others. The shared vision of C2C was a response to our members commentary on how to diminish isolation and provide skill development during the pandemic.

The following mentors and mentees were part of this successful year: Jennifer Aliber, Steve Langston, Steve Templet, Peter Bardwell, Kim Haewon, Ryan Turner, Jill Bergman, Sean Bujold, Haley Peluso, Chris Dohar, MD Mazharul Islam, Holly Harris, Shane Labenz, Gary Smith, Lina Chan, Steve Seely, Naren Anandh and  Marissa Herbert.

   Participants' locations across the country.

Mentee Lina Chan said, "All the sessions I participated in thus far has been incredibly enlightening. Not only are the topics well-structured for open discussions, but what I find far more enjoyable is learning through getting this one on one experience with all the mentors and mentees.

Looking forward to 2022 our program will highlight the following four main topics: professional path, design innovations, AIA involvement and skills workshop.

Please email us if you would like to be part of this unique opportunity at aah@aia.org.
