Bio

Elizabeth Minnis, AIA, Deputy Commissioner for Planning at the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), oversees the Commonwealth's $500 million +/year capital program of strategic long-term planning and development for Higher Education, Public Safety, Judiciary, Human Services and other executive branch agencies and state offices. The staff of experienced design and planning professionals collaborate with teams of A/E firms and planning consultants to develop a wide range of projects including strategic facilities and campus master plans, repairs, renovations, energy efficiency and resiliency upgrades and all planning and pre-design activities for state building projects and public development initiatives.  

Liz was the 2012 Chair of the Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) Advisory Group.  She has moderated and delivered presentations on many topics related to sustainability, justice planning, design and project delivery issues. She is a member of the Boston Society of Architects and served on the BSA Nominating Committee and the BSA Board as Director at Large. She is a graduate of Boston Architectural College and Boston University.
