  • 1.  Collaberative Outpatient Clinic Model for Behavioral Healthcare

    Posted 10-24-2016 07:37 PM

Is anyone aware of currently built and operational Collaborative Outpatient Clinic Models focused on behavioral healthcare? These could be dedicated behavioral healthcare clinics or, preferably a behavioral healthcare module(s) within a larger multi-clinic setting.

    Thank you

Page designed a clinic that opened earlier this year for Healthcare for the Homeless – Houston. It is a medical, dental, and behavioral clinic with behavioral health specialists integrated into the medical clinic. If you are planning to attend the Healthcare Design Conference in Houston, there is a tour of the facility Saturday, Nov 12. (http://www.hcdexpo.com/conference/workshops/)

There is a write-up about the building at: http://pagethink.com/v/project-detail/Healthcare-for-the-Homeless-Houston/as/, and you can learn more about the agency at http://www.homeless-healthcare.org/. They are a fantastic group of people to work with.

We worked with Georgia Tech on a research project around team rooms for a collaborative model.  Among the participants was Mercy Health, a federally qualified clinic with a behavioral health aspect.  Attached is the HERD Journal article about this research.

Two years ago we completed a very small, rapid access outpatient clinic that also offers a 'day treatment' program for one of our long-time clients.  They are a private psych hospital for children (3-18 yrs).

What kind of info are you seeking?

NeighborCare Health just opened a $22.5 million, 45,000sf clinic in north Seattle (NeighborCare Health at Meridian). NeighborCare Health is the largest provider of primary medical and dental care in Seattle for low income and uninsured families and individuals. This clinic includes Behavioral Health.
