Follow The ICC Codes for Healthcare

The International Code Council develops model codes that the vast majority of local building and fire officials adopt, particularly the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Fire Code (IFC).  In recent years, the healthcare community has had a positive impact on model code development, to bring more alignment between federal standards and the IBC and IFC.  The AAH ICC Committee is seeking members to help with the ICC code development process.  Tasks would include developing and evaluating code change proposals as they relate to hospitals and ambulatory care centers, both for new and existing requirements.  If you are interested in participating in this informative and dynamic code change process, please click the link below and fill out the webform.  Thank you!
