The AIA Charlotte "Technology in Architectural Practice" (TAP) Committee's second BIM symposium, "TAP University", focuses the maturing use of building information in architectural practices. We have assembled an array of architect lead presentations highlighting regional case studies and emerging best practices.
It is a day to step back and look at the bigger picture. Gain knowledge to help you strategically adopt new tools and processes into your business. With all the marketing hype and industry focus on trends like BIM and the need to embrace new technology or die, our symposium offers an opportunity to learn, from experienced peers. Hear about emerging technologies that can be successfully integrated into projects and practices without panic and dread.
Face to face learning is still the best! Find like-minded professionals and share information on the role of technology in architectural practice. Test new tools with hands on demonstrations in our vendor hall.
TAP leaders Jeffrey W. Ouellette and Andy Smith will join us as keynote speakers.
