Yes, AIA KnowledgeNet and all of its discussion forums are publicly available, and therefore searchable on sites like Google. If at any time you would like to "unsend" a posting, feel free to click "Mark as Inappropriate" on your own message and it will be hidden. Contact staff at knowledgecommunities@aia.org to have it permanently removed.
You can send a secret, private message through KnowledgeNet and take the discussion off of the public forums. You can follow this tutorial to do that:
