The AIA Practice Management Knowledge Community (PMKC) is partnering with AIA South Atlantic Region (SAR) Conference for a special one-day pre-conference workshop. In support of the SAR conference theme ofre:inventing architecture, the PMKC workshop will provide an opportunity to explore how architects are transforming how they practice to respond to changes in technology and the global economy.
re:inventing practice is seeking case study presentations from practitioners describing innovative and emerging ways of organizing within their firms, or with other firms, to acquire and/or execute projects. We are seeking case studies of actual projects and processes sourced from real life practice experience. Whether you are a sole practitioner who has virtual employees or a large firm partnering with another to compete for mega-projects, or anything in-between, we want to hear about what you are doing.
Proposals are due 5PM Pacific time, Monday April 30, 2012. Please see the Request for Proposals.
