Carrie Salter comes to MHH&B with a background in both high residential design and construction. Beginning her career in some of NYC's top architectural firms, Carrie transitioned into residential construction as a founder of DSA Builders in 1998. Leaving DSA in 2010, Carrie gained new and valuable experience as a Senior Project Manager and site supervisor at other top NYC residential construction companies. A desire to run a hands on quality based service business led her to focus on providing "concierge" service to home owners and businesses, consulting on their design and construction projects 2013.
In late 2013, Richard Segal announced the opening of Metropolitan Home Hardware & Bath. The perfect opportunity presented itself to work alongside a respected colleague with the resources at hand in an exciting start up, and continue to provide a valued service to her clients.
Carrie lives in Williamsburg with her red nosed pit bull Foster. An active member of the open space community, Carrie spends most weekends volunteering at the BMX track, Urban Farm and gardens at a pop up in Williamsburg called Havemeyer Park and working on her rooftop garden.
