Kevin A. Fitzgerald, AIA, NCARB, PMP, CDT more than fifteen years of experience in the architecture profession. Prior to joining AIA National, Kevin was an Associate at Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York, where he worked as a project manager, staff coordinator and team leader on a variety of building and planning projects. For the past eight years he has been mentoring interns and teaching seminars on the Intern Development Program and Architect Registration Exam.
As Director of the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals, Kevin guides the AIA’s Emerging Professionals strategic initiative. Kevin serves as staff liaison to the IDP Advisory Committee, the Council for Emerging Professionals, and supports multiple AIA National board committees as a subject matter expert. He also oversees the Young Architects Forum (YAF), the National Associates Committee (NAC.) Kevin also works directly with AIA components, the American Institute of Architects Students (AIAS), NCARB and other collateral organizations to advance Emerging Professionals issues and initiatives.
